For the upcoming conference:
Students participating in the CAD competition will have a split competition. On March 20, 2023, advisors will be sent the prompt at 12:00 PM. Students will have 1:00 PM - 5:00 PM to complete their drawings. All drawings should then be saved onto a flash drive. This includes all CAD files, not just PDFs. Advisors should collect these at 5:00 PM, and they should be labeled, then brought to registration and submitted. Students will then participate in an interview in which they will discuss and demonstrate their work for the judges. They will need to bring their own computer with the appropriate software loaded with them for the interview. If their files are not on the flash drive, they will be disqualified. Flash drives will be returned at the conference's end
There are over 70 different competitions that members have the opportunity to participate in through the Technology Student Association. Members will first compete at the state level, and depending on their placement, will be able to compete at the national level.
